Ninjas in Pyjamas will be without their in-game leader for the second competition in a row.
Hampus "hampus" Poser announced on Tuesday through his official twitter account that he will not be joining his team at the Global Esports Tour in Dubai, just days before Ninjas in Pyjamas's first match against NASR is set to begin.
This means that Erik "ztr" Gustafsson, the Young Ninjas shotcaller, has once again been called up to take the 23-year-old's place. He also served as a stand-in for the team during their IEM Dallas campaign, where they finished 9-12th overall, bowing out in the their group's lower bracket semi-finals.

Not having their IGL for back-to-back tournaments will definitely impact Ninjas in Pyjamas's stability within their main roster even further, having struggled to maintain a consistent group of players due to varying reasons over the past year, with Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Linus "LNZ" Holtäng also getting stints playing as members of the starting lineup.
Though he will be cheering his team on from afar, hampus mentioned that he has been feeling better, but chose to sit out the tournament to further recover and prepare for the upcoming IEM Cologne.
Ninjas in Pyjamas's lineup heading into Dubai is as follows:
Fredrik "REZ" Sterner
Nicolas "Plopski" Gonzalez Zamora
Ludvig "Brollan" Brolin
Patrick "es3tag" Hansen
Erik "ztr" Gustafsson (stand-in)
Daniel "djL" Narancic (coach)
